During my stay, the heating was turned off early, making the night incredibly cold. There were no extra pillows or blankets available to keep warm, and I couldn't reach the staff for assistance since the pub closed earlier than expected. The overall atmosphere felt lifeless, with a lack of entertainment options and uncomfortable bedding that made the experience quite disappointing.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, who were incredibly welcoming and attentive during my stay, made every meal enjoyable, especially the delicious breakfast which featured high-quality local sausages and bacon, served in a convenient location just 17 km from the nearest airport for easy accessibility.

We loved the cozy atmosphere and our room was quiet despite being near a busy road. Perfect for a good night's sleep after a long drive! The nearby common was a lovely touch for a quick stroll.

The bathroom shower was a bit temperamental—got me feeling like I was taking a lukewarm plunge! And don't get me started on the traffic. I had dreams of being in a Fast & Furious movie!

I had a delightful stay with quick check-in and enjoyed the Back King Room, which was tastefully decorated and blissfully quiet despite the busy road nearby. The highlight was the dinner, which had generous portions and fresh ingredients, followed by a wonderful breakfast selection that set me up for the day. The warm and accommodating service made the experience even better. the proximity to the main road can be a bit overwhelming if you're staying in a front-facing room.

The Shoe Inn offers a peaceful atmosphere despite being near the busy A36. The quick check-in process was efficient, and the Back King Room was comfortably decorated. Breakfast provided a wide selection, including freshly made items. Dinner was equally enjoyable with generous portions and fresh vegetables. The hosts demonstrated excellent service and were very accommodating.

The front-facing rooms suffer from constant traffic noise, making it tough to sleep without earplugs. Cleanliness left room for improvement, especially in the bathrooms, where dust and hairs were noticeable. The decor has seen better days, lacking charm and showing signs of age, including peeling paint and threadbare carpets. the pub atmosphere can be quite lively and disruptive, with late-night music often keeping guests awake.

I stayed in the Back Double Room for a night. The room was comfortable and had complimentary toiletries, which was a nice touch. It was clean, and I liked that it had tea, coffee, and biscuits available. The only downside was that the busy road nearby made it a bit noisy at times, but the good double glazing helped. Decent space overall though!

Just a prime choice for a weekend adventure in Plaitford with extraordinarily good value for money. Coffee took a while, but it was nice once served. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a quieter room.

We spent 2 nights in a Back Double Room and loved the food! The beef bourguignon was amazing, and the locals were so friendly. The bar was great too. Just wish the car park was better lit, a bit tricky at night. a fab spot for a meal and a drink!
